Comments:
Kick ass day yesterday, and I was pretty tired. Chilled all day after Phil left, but I was getting kinda bored actually being cooped up. It was a spectacular day out, much like yesterday. I wanted to get over to South Deerfield, so I headed up 47 and across the bridge. The highway is a lot busier than I remembered. Its kinda sketch to run over there and a busy beautiful day. Its a short stretch to the sidewalk, so it is manageable, but didnt feel like heading there today. I instead went up River Rd on the other side of the river. It didnt have a great shoulder either, so I turned aoind at 15 min and headed back. On the way back, I did the sunderland elementary school (SES) add on. It was hot out today and I didnt have much shade. I was so refreshed when I got back though. Good run. DId some striders on the road also which felt great. I havnt got my legs moving at all in so long. It especially felt fast since I ran pretty slow today.
First full week of running in a long time... and it felt good I actually feel like I am getting into it again. Dont know how it will work once classes start, but I will work that routine out, find my place, then plan for one of those 5 milers or 5ks around. I do look forward to racing in those.
Essenials: Stretch, abs
Quick and easy stretch out front. Everything feeling good. Blister on my left foot is pretty big though and I can feel it, but it doesnt bother me.
