Easy Run

I wasn't sure if I should discuss this but somethings need to be aired publicly.

It was near Confederation Bldg that I saw him, an older respected triathlete that looks much younger than his actual age. Despite the fact that he's socailly awkward and still lives with his mother while in his '50's, I've always had tremendous respect for this man. Secretly, I've always hoped he'd find someone that loved and accepted him so that he'd be happy.

Anyway, after about 10' of chasing him down to catch up with him, I finally do and I congratulate him on winning his event (and $300 cash purse!) at the Paradise Triathlon the weekend before. We talk a bit about running and that leads to talk about politics somehow.

Big mistake on my part. It turns out this guy is a Holocaust Denier! I did Nazi that coming!

I didn't argure with him because it was so absurd. It didn't make me angry. It just made me sad because I know this guy will be forever alone.

Isolated people are attracted to conspiricy theories. Conspiricies make people isolated. When you get in that ugly cycle, there's no hope in escaping.
