Comments:
Ran with Group 3 but mostly with Mike Steere and Chris Everett. Felt pretty decent. Coach told group 3 to go 6 minute pace so we wound up a little bit ahead. Thought we slowed down after the mile mark but we actually had picked it up. Went out to the five mile turnaround, and stopped at the one mile on the way back. 300's were good, lift was great. No ice bath and a charlie horse were the only downers for today's workout. Everything felt pretty good.
5:55, 5:52, 6:01, 6:00. Could have gone harder on the way back but that wasn't the point of the workout. As is, got a pace PR for a tempo and my heart rate was 12 or so bpm lower than last week. Progress.
