Comments:
today's workout was pretty different from anything we've done before. we also messed up the first mile. to be honest i didn't really pay attention to the description coach gave and planned on having lots of people to follow. turns out either everyone felt bad or i felt pretty good, because i was up right behind david. we cut it short, it was probably even just short of 1200 meters. its a shame because i was feeling pretty good, and i would have liked it to have been correct. then hills, and i know coach said to take them "not as hard" but i just did what i always do. hard up hill, jog down. still hate hills though. then had probably a little too much rest before the second mile but i was waiting for david so i could run with him, since i was up with him for the first one. started out too fast but just decided to roll with it. still not bad, but i got much slower the last 600ish meters. the small numbers of group 2 had some exceptional days today, and i feel like you guys are my children so i was proud! had a pretty good talk with david on cool down. the only thing stopping me is me. except history says i'm pretty difficult to deal with haha.
