Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Really hungry at the end of the day. In polymer physics my stomach was grumbling. I quickly ate when I got home, but I also wanted to run... I bit the bullet and went out anyways. Wanted to run shorter today, and randomly decided it would be fun to do a workout on the fields near SES, since it is flat and it was really crisp out. I ran over there the long way, then went down by the entrance and decided to do a tempo on the loop around the school. Did a few striders and some very very short drills (aint got time for that these days), then set out on a 3-4 loop tempo.
Started out slow getting my grip on the grass, but then picked it up into a nice rhythm. Its a lot of fun around that loop, def reminds one of cross country. Reminds me of Marathon or Baldwinsville or anyother race that was around a school... I like that a lot. I think the loop is around 1k. I honestly dont know my pace, but I would estimate it. I can map it someother time. I added on a little at the end to get to 12 min, and I really tried to push that part. HR was right at 156 when I finished, so that can indicate what my pace needs to be for an appropriate tempo.
Jogged home in the cooling evening. Stomach didnt hurt that much during or after the workout. Thats good. Still should bring a snack to eat after class.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Everything felt pretty good today, but knee was tight and clicking here and there. Gotta loosen it up and stretch it out, and then strengthen it. Otherwise I felt like I could go kinda fast, which is awesome.
