Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Same tempo as last week. Wanted to go a little further, but took it down since I didnt have a lot of miles last week and I didnt run yesterday. I was really tired when I got home, since I woke up at 6:30 for lab and we had a long day doin work. Anyways, I know a good run helps relieve stress, so I had to go out. Took a little to motivate me, but its Mondays, and #MondayMotivation helps. I want to get faster too. Warm up over to the school and did a set of drills. Lead all by myself, but did them alone. Its not as fun alone... Anyways weather was nice and I felt ready to roll. Running around the 1k loop gets me as close to the feeling of racing as I can get at this point, so I really love it. Felt good going around, even splits for 1k around 3:45. Felt like a good pace and picked it up for the last part to make it 12 min. Thats right on 6min pace. Awesome. HR was a little funky at the end. Felt on pace but it started to jump and I couldnt get a good reading. Walked around a little then jogged back to the apartment.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Until a frost comes, it is impossible to stretch outside without getting attacked by bugs. Stretch inside which felt pretty good. Back and IT was a little tight today but overall I felt smooth. Good to run today since this week is gonna be busy.
