Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Huge rain storm came in today. It was raining on the way home, and when I stepped outside to run, it was downpouring. Most people would have skipped the run, but I didnt run yesterday and I needed to be out there. It was great. I was instantly saturated once I headed down the road. I couldnt do a tempo today because when my shoes get really wet, the orthotics slip and I cant really run. Kinda sucks, so I had to go shorter today. I have been wanted to do a cross fit workout on the playground for a while now (that stuff is my shit). I ran up to SES, the set out a little cross fit workout. I didnt check the sheet before I left, so I just made one up. I can look at some good exercises though. Did a lap inbetween each set. Kept reps low since I havnt done any strength at all in a while now.
Felt really good. I was worked at the end, and the rain stopped by the time I was done, so I felt very accomplished and swole. Jogged back pretty slowly.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Good stretch. Legs felt good today even though I didnt do much mileage. Right Shin was very tight in the beginning, but it loosened up and I didnt feel it on the way back. Otherwise it felt good to do some upper body.
