Comments:
Split tempo on MLK today. 2/1/1, with 2 minute, then 1 minute rest on the splits. I actually felt really strong, even if I fell off a bit on the last mile. Also did some different strides than usual, 2x3x200. I kind of enjoyed these, it's been a while since I've had a chance to kind of let some speed out like that. We got a chance to try out the newer routines today too. Doing the full hurdle drills was pretty neat, I normally don't get that kind of range of motion in my hips, so I can see that helping a bunch in the future. The strength was pretty solid too, but after doing squats and jerks, doing a circuit with lunges and step ups seemed like a lot in the same muscle grouping. It's a good sore though.
