North Sunderland Loop

October 19, 2013 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Got a lot of good sleep last night, but I woke up very congested. Cromer said he got sick from the race as well. Cold season is starting up. I spent the morning studying since we have tests next week, unlike Case which has fall break... Got out the door in the afternoon. I got to say fall in New England is incredible. Perfect, crisp beautiful weather. Its a different kinda fall from the Midwest. I definitely miss that kinda fall as well, but this weather makes you feel soo much better. Looped out towards Mountain Rd but didnt go out that far, just turned back. Ankle is feeling better, but I havnt run in a while and I can still feel the achiness. Did a SES loop to add on. Wore my lighter brace as well, and it was making my arch sore on the way back. Hopefully I wont need it next week.

Essentials: Stretch roll

Stretched outside in the nice weather. Kinda want to make a leaf pile and go play in it. Got more studying to do. First years dont get to have much fun like that.

Hope everyone had a good race at Oberlin. Its too hard to tell from the results cause the course can be so crazy sometimes. Its crazy to think how fast I was one year ago. We were putting in some major work and making moves. I also remember going in how my back was killing me, and Aaron gave me some of his ancient oriental magic Chinese pepper patches, and I had an awesome race out of nowhere. Good times indeed. For all you that this was your last race of the season, take your break but keep running and trying to get better. I remember how I crashed and burned at Oberlin freshman year, then by the time regionals was there and when we went senior year, I had some of my better races. If you want to get there you can, and it is worth it.

Not quite 4 today. I had a good streak of mileage going there, this week is pretty low.
