Oberlin 2013: Not exactly the way I planned on finishing my cross-country career. But that's OK, and you are the reason why.

Headed out at what seemed like a sustainable pace. Through the mile at 6:30, and everything slowed down from there. It was cold, and miserable, and lots of my body was sore, but I finished the race. I ran it for myself, because I wasn't accomplishing anything for the team, but the fact that you all were there cheering me on even though I was busy running my slowest race since middle school helped so much. Thanks for being awesome teammates for the last four years. The time I've spent with all of you will be something to remember and enjoy for a long, long time.
