Exercise Type: Walk

Pretty OK day. Busy day at work, but good. Busy juggling stuff - texting Chelsea back and forth (mtg Sunday night, as it turns out).

After work, went for a fitness walk up and down/around Skinner Butte while talking to BGD on the phone. Didn't feel at all like any work, other than hiking uphill.

Was supposed to go to a movie with Cliff and two girls, but Cliff's friend "flaked out", so it was just Cliff and I going out for a beer, which was fine.

I'm really glad I'm making inroads on my own (e.g. all these female contacts have been made, independent of his influence, or his wingmanship). I life Cliff, but he can be a little sketch, and I don't full trust him. Got to hear about how he's trying to set up a 3-way -- with one of HIS guy friends (can you believe that? Dear Lord, no).

Then, I come to find out that there WAS a post-ballet bash that he didn't tell me about. I've wondered about whether he's been avoiding inviting me to hang out with them -as if he's threatened by me (like I'm gonna "steal his girls"). I ASKED him if there was a post-show gathering on Sun and he said no. Then he (acccidentally, I think) leaked out that there was, in fact, a gathering. That bugs me, because I truly like those girls (anyone who's passionate about anything, is super cool).

Hard not to be angry with that, but I did have a good, important convo with Claire that night, instead.

I dunno...ugh. I'm just happy I'm not having to be in his shoes -- this weird "free-for-all" fest with sketchy women (and guy friends). I will stay on the periphery of that.
