Was going to swim after work, but by the time I got to Sheldon Pool, it was a mad-house with swim lessons, and only 3 swim lanes, all of which had 2 swimmers already.
So I drove home and hiked Skinner up and down in the dark. I was surprised at how tired/sore I was! But I did dead-lift at lunch today and that gassed my hips. And the way I'm hiking? SUPER-loading the gluts with extreme forward trunk, trying to selectively activate the gluts, work on trunk alignment, and reduce quad loading. It worked! Did the step rockwall side of the butte x3, then a couple roundabout laps, then back home.
Hadn't been to Max's in a long-ass time (Sept?), so I reluctantly (due to fatigue) went. Glad I did, it was fun! Great to see Shawna; that outfit was extreme, but damn, those leathery pants looked good. Wow.
