Richmond Marathon

Comments:
This was a great marathon. You ran past several landmarks, through downtown, and on a trail by the Hampton River. I was actually warm the first few miles then the rain came and I got soaked. Ugh! At the halfway point I was cruising at 1:48 around 8:15 a mile. Mile 16 I started slowing down, but I still had a 8:30 pace at mile 20. 21 was 9:35, 22-10:19, 23-10:54, 24-11:04 and then I walked mostly 25 and 26. I wobbled to the finish at 4:04:59 or a 9:20 pace. I am home now and glad it is over. I think I will stick to 13.1 for now on.
