Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran after seminar. Got a good night sleep last night, and put in some more serious work today. Got a tough weekend coming up though, get things straight before break. Decided to head north to my old stomping grounds, Puffers Pond. I havnt been up there since I got back to Amherst. It was pretty humid out. It rained today and there was a lot of moisture in the air. It made it tough to see with my head lamp. Heading up to North Amherst I felt pretty quick, probs because I had a cup of coffee in the afternoon. Turned into Mill River Park and it was pitch black. Had to go off of memory at that point to get to the waterfall. Served me well I dodged all the roots. It was good to be back, brought back all the memories of Kevin and I racing through there to get out to the RFT. Took a moment at the falls before heading back on the road. On the way back, I felt a lot more tired, legs started to slow down. Didnt feel all that great. I think its shorted the way back because I negative split back to the parking lot. Overall a good run, even though the weather was kinda odd.
Essentials: Stretch
Yea just stretched a little in the parking lot before heading back home. Legs felt fine anyways. Ankle is a little sore, but feels good walking around. See where I can fit in runs this weekend. A bunch of IHS people are gonna be at the Turkey Trot so I am excited for that. Ill get to hear about Nationals from Liam. On that note, good luck tomorrow David! Remember a Spartan never enters battle alone. You always got a whole nation of Spartans behind you. Especially 7 other "eggs" that helped bake your cake hehe. Go out there and run the race you need to run, and you will have a good time.
