Shiner Beer Run: 1/2 Marathon
8:30 AM. Sleep: 5 hr. Stayed up watching Real Steel in my hotel room last night, stayed in my car as much as possible before the start of the race, met the eventual race winner while taking off my layers in the bag drop line, decent start but should have made a move early to stick with the two guys immediately ahead of me, I remained in fourth place for practically the entire race, pit break after mile 3, strong headwind from around mile 3 to 6, some hills to the course, finished pretty strong with a decent time, splits: 5:59, 6:08, 5:46, 7:01, 6:40, 6:23, 6:40, 6:05, 5:41, 5:45, 5:59, 5:57, 5:57 (1.1 mi), 1:19:56 chip, 1:19:59 gun, 4th overall, 1st males 25 to 29.

Shiner, TX
Went for a short cooldown, partly to stay warm and kill time until the awards ceremony (got a sweet stein), stretch, then onto drinking Shiner beer.
