Weird day. It FINALLY warmed up, and by the end of work today (which went late), it was raining hard and about 37F.
Just before leaving, I got a text from my ex-coworker Pete: his last day at Eug PT was today, and he's moving to Bend. He wanted to get a beer.
I've been tired all week.
I remembered the notion I had a month+ ago: "Go hard for 12 days, then off two".
Time for a day off.
So I did. Went home, cleaned up, grabbed a beer with Pete, then went to Chels' house.
No big talks tonight. We watched "Love Actually" on the couch. Not...a great movie. But it was "good", and it was interesting to think about how that movie touches and impacts her. The best part? Was sitting there, with my "dream girl", without a regret in the world KNOWING that I did all those "heroic" things to get the love of my life. :-)
Stayed the night again. Tough just sleeping next to her, but gonna have to practice it. :-)
