PRE + Spfd + Fairmount/Campus

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 40ish, dry

Comments:
Lazy Sunday. Slept in...sort of...at Chels' house (w/some AM extracurriculars). Then we hung out, drank coffee, had breakfast and wrapped her Christmas gifts (I was the tape dispenser and "technique critic"). Mid-morning, she went to yoga, so I went home and got some stuff done, then eventually got out for a run.

Not sure WHY I wanted to run. If anything I wanted to assess the damage: how hard I'd run, any asymmetries, etc. Wasn't too bad, but boy was I tired! Took a good :40 to warm-up, but the stride ultimately felt good.

The NigZ:

- both calves were tight, but L > R. I would suspect this was mostly due to the snow/ice/mud, but still not great
- QUAAADZ were a little roughed up, but only mildly L>R.
- Gluts MEGA-SORE, which is great feedback on performance.

Did the usual loop, minus the PRE rock uphill.

PM: Did the Ultra Runner Podcast (BGD should be able to pick up the two topics I specifically requested we talk about). Had FUN. Those guys do great - and they continue to improve their style and fluidity.

Barely made it to yoga class - the range of motion-based "yoga for athletes". Chels' dad Tom was there, as well as her step-sister, so I got to "meet" them both. Tom was impressed by my "dominance" yesterday. :-P

After that? We got a bite to eat and had a good chat about some of her dad/step-mom stuff going on, then went back to her house. Watched "Four Christmases" (solid Rom-Com), then went to bed.
