Felt a little better today, which was good. Another busy one: had to haul ass after work to get the run in before our office Christmas dinner.

Did the usual loop - and felt pretty good.

INTERESTING NUGGET: I realize now what the hell I'm doing (or not doing) when my L hamstring stiffens up: I'm "derotating" again. So even if I'm shifting the pelvis left, I STILL have to work (a bit) to make sure I'm extending the R pelvis and forward-driving my left. If not, I consistently "fall out" on the left side and have to over-reach with my L hammy. This also causes R ab sorness (since it never stretches out w/R hip extension).

Anyway, I've been doing this since RunFest, and it's been annoying. Corrected it today (which is best done with a strong L backward elbow + strong R forward swing in that half-stride).

Chels came with for the dinner, which was cool. Met my coworkers and schmoozed over dinner at Steelhead, this "so-so" (actually pretty shitty) "brewery" on 5th by my place. The boss paid, so that was very appreciated, but I would've liked several other options.

Had some "quality time" back at the apt before she had to go home...then got a last-minute text from Mr Madson - his LAST ever beer in EUG was going down at the Stein and I didn't want to miss it, so I drove down there for one. SUPER-tired, though.
