January 3, 2014 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Snow and frozen mud covering the ground, 22 degrees
Comments:
I left at 4:30 after a great deal of tarrying. I planned to do five hills running steadily in between them. I started with Pollard, the ran up 26th, turned around, went through Taylor, then up Vermont (the longest one of the day). I double-backed and climbed military, cresting it. I concluded the run with 36th and Peary. Compared to something we'd do at practice the hills themselves were shorter, so I ran them at a pace slightly faster than tempo. I did six striders at home then 2 minutes of slow push-ups, calling it a day. I had meant to meet Anthony at school at 3:30, but my car wasn't going anywhere. Conditions still made some of the cool downs slower than desired.
