Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Since we got back late yesterday I slept in a lot. Waking up late is weird because then the day seems so short. I wanted to get my car out of the snow since it was buried, so I dug it out then went up to Cornell to run. Started at the outdoor track then rolled over to Beebe lake. I ran past Barton and stuck my head inside to see what was going on. Some of the team was practicing. It reminded me of how awesome practice was. That was one thing I was missing this semester. Its the best time of day. 3-4 hours where you dont have to think about school, get to hang out with your best friends, and do something you love... I kept running down Triphammer and around community corners, then headed back to campus. I wanted to check out the cemetery again and look for Debye's grave site. I always seemed to miss it. As I came up to the bend I looked off into the sites and there is was, clear as day standing out amongst everyone else. I had to stop and pay respects for a while. Debye is such a huge name in physical chemistry and polymer science (Dude won the Nobel Prize). An amazingly brilliant mind that we all look up to. After the quick stop I kept going through A Lot and the North Campus dorms then back up Tower Rd. Legs were kinda tired today. It was tough on the slippery sidewalks. Much easier to run in the roads. It got pretty cold when the sun came down as well. Temps are fluctuating all over the place lately. One thing thats for sure is its a lot colder up here than in South Carolina.
Essentials: Stretch
Stretched at the parking lot. Good stretch worked things out. Good run overall after not getting to run yesterday. Tomorrow is another travel day but I might fit in a night run. Then I got to get my gym pass.
