As I looked at the weather forecast for this week, I realized today was the best option for my long run. The only option really. It was warm enough that I took off my hat and put it in my pocket about a mile into the run. I had the unanticipated feeling of actually sweating while I ran. I kind of forgot what that feels like.

Anyway, I did some variant of my old Monday route from my old apartment last year, around the Southwest side. The ground had a thin layer of packed snow and it seemed to be putting more stress on my calves than I was used to, particularly on the way out when I was running uphill. My blisters seem to be on the mend and I had no peroneal problems. All in all, this was a good run.
