CDLXXII

January 11, 2014 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Grey, foggy, 50, standing water on the canal, a few puddles on the CCT

Comments:
I drove to Chain Bridge and parked in the little alcove at the bottom of the hill that leads up Richmond Street. I probably didn't need a jacket, but the chance of rain made it a good idea. I ran on the Canal until reaching Georgetown, jogged around the pier for a minute or two, then returned to the car on the CCT, partially to dodge the puddles, partially to speed up. I had intended to run 45, but the whole run felt so great I wasn't too taxed by the end. I felt as though I was running inside of a Mac wallpaper for most of it, with the frozen over river and the fog hanging above the canal. At home after stretching I did 35 pushups (15, 20), prone plank for 4:00, 100 crunches, six inches for 2:00, superman hold for 1:00, Peter Silverman drill for 1:00, high knees for 1:00. Tomorrow off, of course. Today was definitely a run to remember.
