Christened my gym pass today. I was getting really tired around 3ish (didnt have my coffee today) so to pick me up I went to the gym. It was good to be back, pretty empty since most students are still gone. I started with a 10 min bike warm up, then went to lift. I brought my old folder from Coach Rubin and was gonna do one of the 300 or crossfit workouts. I found out early that my legs arent quite ready for workouts. Hammy was real tight so I couldnt do many of the squat things. I started out light and easy to work into getting back into the weight room.
3 sets of:
Lunge (15lbs) x20 steps
Med Ball pushups x10
Bench dips x15
Calf raises x15
PBDKLDBDLKDKLDLKB (15lbs) x15
I was working up a sweat and it felt pretty good, even though my hammies were super sore afterward. Biked for a cool down and then stretched and stretched out the hammy. Decent workout it felt good to get back in. It would be more fun with a lifting buddy (ALin? I can sneak you in the side door). Pretty tired after, which is good. Showered up and then headed back to the office to get my stuff. Walking back and forth takes up a lot of time... It aint like walking to fribs then walking home. Its different this time around. Once classes start ill get a routine going and try to get some of the other guys in on it.
