Exercise Type: Run

Pretty good day, but BUSY: Worked 'til 11, then hustled over to Firestone. Was expecting to see this guy Sal and another guy, Danny, who were interested in buying Huevo. There were two guys, but one wasn't Sal, who had first dibs. This other guy, Juan, was there. Both Danny and Juan were ready to buy, but I'd talked to Sal last night and he had the "right of first refusal".
At 1130 I texted him saying I was "here" (at the agreed upon time) and said two other guys were waiting there. No response. I waited around for 25 more minutes, chatting with the guys in the cold, damp air. Finally, I texted, "ETA?". And Sal texts back, "15 minutes".
Bullshit.
I got pissed, and had the "exchange". And, about 3 minutes later, I was signing over the title to Danny and he gave me six new hundred bills. Game over.
RIP, Celica!
After that was done, I got my allergy injection, went home, packed up the Tacoma, and headed north. At 3:30 I got to Yassine's to go run with him - a first for us two!
We ran SUPER easy. Yassine is a couple weeks post-HURT, but he says he "always runs this easy". I was pretty shocked. Like 9 minute pace, flat. And slow on downhills, too (though he did have some ankle pain).
GOOD run. Chatted about WS memories, which was fun. Heard his '13 story, which was cool, and we reminisced about '12.
Post-run, he had to take off and nab his daughter from daycare/school. I drove to Chelsea 2's house (Chelsea Hinman, my Chels' BFF from HS, and all-time BFF).
After I cleaned up, I helped her assemble this two-level shelving unit for her new house in NE PDX. After that, we just chatted...and had an AWESOME CHAT about all sorts of things: my relationship, HERs (I know about her struggles w/her on-and-off again). Really great to connect! I think her comfort with me is a testament to MY commitment to C1. She talked about some pretty heady, super-SERZ stuff in Chels' background - a bit of what I knew about, but...I guess I only knew "the tip of the iceberg". Ugh. Good to know, though. Important stuff.
After that, we went to a mexican restaurant in central PDX, where Chels1 and some other friends of hers met. FUN NIGHT!
