Exercise Type: Weights
Comments:
University closed for Presidents Day, still had group meeting and class. Gym opened at noon so I went around then. Usually thats a good time, but since there were no classes and the gym had limited hours, it was packed. No way I was getting a squat rack today. After warming up, went to the third floor and did a modified cross fit workout. I used heavier weights today, since that was all I really had access to.
3 sets of:
Goblet Squat x15 (30-35 lbs)
Inverted Row x15 (20 lbs)
Standing DB Press x15 (15-20 lbs)
Medball Pushups x10 each side
I was pretty tired from that short circuit. Its been a week or so since I lifted. It was also really hot and crowded on the benches which made it uncomfortable. Overall, got a good pump and it felt good. Did a shake out 5 mins on the track afterward, just to rest my arms and get my legs moving. That was ok, but the surface is so hard and its embarrassing to watch other people who have no idea what they are doing run.
Essentials: Stretch
After cooldown, stretched over by the stairs. I was really tired and kinda just felt like sitting there and staring at the wall, but I had class to get to. Shower felt very refreshing though.
