Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran the 400.
Got Lane 6. Noticed the guy in lane 5 looked pretty quick. Sure enough, he made up the stagger before the first turn. A few other guys were going by me on the backstretch, so I kept rolling around the far turn, and made the break when I got to the homestretch. Apparently I did that well and used the full straight to get to lane 1. Coming up the backstretch, a guy in red went by me on the outside. I was catching up to a guy in green who was slowing down pretty hard, so with 100 to go I started putting in what I had left. Shortly thereafter I felt myself slowing down, and then I started to flail and my legs stopped going where I told them to. I fell on the inside as I was coming off the last turn. Still the least painful race I've ever run, but it was very much a disappointment to not hit the standard. Shoutout to people for a bunch of solid races: both men's and women's 800 crews and the women's mile. And especially to Neil for coming over and helping me up after my race.
Decent cooldown if split up a bit.
