Weather: 50, threatening rain...

Didn't run this AM: woke up at 5AM with throbbing feet and a bunch of fatigue and went back to bed. Woke up at 0630 and worked my calves, feet and hammies - which are MORE sore, suddenly - and the feet were good the rest of the day.
Leisurely day at work, but busy afternoon. Hustled home after work to get in a run before my first track meeting.
Run was...OK. I just feel like I'm re-torquing my hamstrings. Not sure why...but I think it could be because letting my back go into flexion ("old man back").
The track meeting was GOOD: an intro informational session with both parents and kids - voluntary. Only about 1/3 of the team showed (some other school function that night), but it was good for me to meet the coaches, ALL of whom are awesome people, and to meet a few parents. Several familiar faces: previous patients (kids) and their parents. Exciting! It's "getting real!"
Met Chels at a nice (new) restaurant near my place afterward: had a beverage and chatted about some stuff, then retired to my place.
Good day...other than the damn hamstring soreness.
