Comments:
In Amherst, MA. I had to squeeze in the run a little bit today. I left the hotel and ran around the campus at UMASS Amherst (separate from Amherst College) and briefly in some of the adjacent neighborhoods. I even worked in a couple hills, unlike yesterday, which was mostly flat. I thought out a logical way to turn into a neighborhood and run back through campus, but hit a dead end and it became more of an out and back than loop, also longer than intended. When I started my legs felt heavy and my calves sore from the past two days, but I tried to focus and made sure it didn't become a slog. I had an abbreviated static stretch (40 seconds for everything) and later did 20 forward lunges, 20 alternating and 2:45 planks, 25 leg lifts all around and 12 mediocre one leg squats. I'll see if I can map this when I get home, but distance is mere speculation for now.
