Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 30s, clear skies
Comments:
I finally got home from my little road trip and thought I'd work through the stiffness from the car ride on a short run followed by a normal static stretch. I ran through country club hills, up glebe took a left onto 26th and came back home via 31st. It was a positively beautiful run; though so short, everything seemed to click and I did not feel as though as I was working particularly hard, but slicing through thinner air with the first inklings of spring freshness. I did seven minutes of Peter Silverman stuff: 20 traveling squats, 20 calf raises per leg, his mountain climbers for a minute (15), flutter kicks for a minute and a prone plank on my hands for the remaining 57 seconds.
