Comments:
I was a bit slow in getting motivated but finally pulled myself together and left the house at around 1:50. I set out an easy pace, rather heavily clothed and took Military to where it turned into Quincy, running a few hundred meters past the library at Quincy Plaza, which got me to 22 minutes. My lower calves were sore. I turned around and began to pick up the pace, but the hail pelted and stung my face. I accelerated again at the fork and made a strong effort coming up the hills and back into the neighborhood, never quite working as hard as I probably should have, but attained a nice negative split. I put something dry on and did eight, quality striders of around 100m each, getting up on my toes. Upon going back inside, 30 "Apollo Ohno" drills per leg, 2 minute flutter kicks, slow pushups for 2 minutes, supine plank for 2 minutes and scissor kicks for 1 minute.
