Today was a beautiful day for racing. Overall, I'm okay with my times but still a little disappointed. In the 8 and 16, I was alone almost the entire time, which was tough as it essentially meant that my races were more or less time trials. Generally, I didn't treat my body too nicely this week though-- around 6 or 5 hrs of sleep each night and a good amount of stress. So, I figure, I just can't expect my body to perform really well in a race after I don't rest enough. So I'm going to try to get a lot more sleep and be more mindful of stretching and hopefully I'll feel more physically (and mentally) prepared in the next meet.
