Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Conner put a gap on me with 1100 to go and I couldn't take it. We went 72 in the wind with 4 laps to go, then I got dropped as he went 75 the next lap, which resulted in me shutting it down and coasting in a 5:35 mile as he went 4:55 to win. Not happy. (Note: Realize now (4.27.14) that this is not my type of race--10K, yes, but not a slow to blazing fast race. I can hang on the fast pace all day, but I don't have the strength to match the acceleration at that point in a race all the way to the end. If I can hang, I can take anyone the last 200+, but I've gotta get the strength the do both before we get to cross season)
