easy bike ride

Pretty tired at work. Ankle felt WAYYY better when I did a posterior glide taping on the tibia (did ANTERIOR yesterday, which was stupid). After that, I barely felt it the rest of the day.

It was an easy run today for practice and, as usual, got there too late to even see anyone, so I went home and went for a bike ride: was 70 and sunny today!

Rode the Lorane/Gimpl Hill route. Was easy EXCEPT for the mega-huge climb up Chambers early, then the Gimpl climb.

LOW energy. I was way low on CarbZ all day: I did NOT replenish like I should have yesterday (I didn't even have a BEER last night!) and felt it, even when working. Had no energy for anything >130hr today, which was fine. Kept it there.

Avg HR of 124 for the :90 ride. But man, was it tough on the legs, even still! Haven't been on the bike in months.

Saw a guy on a crotch rocket wipe out in a ditch out on Lorane. He was with a big group: he was OK. I think he pre-emptively ditched instead of sliding on the pavement... TONS Of motorcycles out for this first "really nice" day of '14.
