Weather: 45, pretty nice
Comments:
Didn't feel like it - and under-rested again - but I went for a morning run. Running has been so "dreadful" (literally, dreading what might happen: legs, feet, energy, etc) so my motivation is low. But I knew I'd feel better if I got "the run in" before work. So I went. And since I was out a little late, I only went 6.
Again, I've realized I've been "super-stiff" in my feet and ankles, so I remembered the BGD "ankling drill", and did that a bit before, then ran that way.
I'm not sure how impactful it was, but I went from 8-pace down to 7-flat by the end of what's usually an early-morning shufflefest. And the stride - and feel/ankles - felt great! Shit, I wonder how long I've been losing energy in that area!
Pretty good morning of work - only THREE patients! Then a leisurely, lazy afternoon. Just felt WORN after last weekend, and insufficient sleep. I wanted to go to PRE, but
a.) my bike tire is still flatted, making it brutal to get to Hayward
b.) I was tired as shit
c.) It seemed like going to the meet JUST to see Galen Rupp run a defacto time trial 25-lapper wasn't super exciting.
So...after spending the night cooking and reading, I went to bed at 8:45.
