Gorham to Maple Bluff and back, to Second Point and back -
My knee was bothering me slightly when I started so I told myself to be a little cautious. I also decided I might as well time it just for kicks. As the run unfolded, I decided to scrap the caution and see how fast I could do the long run somewhat comfortably. My knee was okay though a little sore for most of it and more sore after the trail section. Quick turns and short steep hills didn't do it any favors. Still, it held up okay. My stomach was also fine. I decided to try and get up on my toes for segments of this and I was oscillating some with the pace. The trails section slowed me some too, as I ran them only as fast as I could with some amount of confidence that I wouldn't injure myself. I was tired by the end of this, though not so much aerobically as my legs were tired. I haven't run this fast for about a month, let alone for a long run. I'm not entirely sure why I did this, I just felt like it. Perhaps I should more often. I actually felt better than I do on a lot of my runs.
