Easy Run w/ Benson and McDowell

Weather: cold and drizzle

Comments:
This was supposed to be a 5,000m race at the track. However, the weather was so poor that all participants dropped out. JK suggested it first. DF had a cold anyway. MN may have ran it; I didn't stick around to see what his final decesion was.

Anyway, as unfortunate as having to DNS for the first time in my over-15 year running "career" it was undeniably the right choice. For me to go out and run another poor 5k in around 16:30 would do nothing for my confidence.

So I drove back to CC's and got the two best running dogs a guy could ever have. They sniffed some b's and dropped some p's on the "big loop." While this wasn't McDowell's longest run but it was his farthest. He handled it easily like I knew he would. Benson loved it too.
