Comments:
It was hot when we started. Sun really comes down on Groff 2. Apparently this team was beatable. We played real close the first few innings. I pitched, was doing decent. Then they realized they just had to hit short line drives to get on base, and then they started piling up on us. They were real sticklers for the rules, and we had some arguments over a couple plays, including Mikes HR. That was kinda off putting. We had a hard time moving runners around the bases and getting those outs when they hit short grounders. We can get flies, but making plays at the base is one of our weaknesses. Still good game, I played the whole time so I was pretty tired at the end. We are playing the undefeated team on Thursday. So that should be fun. At least we scored more points today than any of the world cup teams.
