Confuse-A-Woodland-Critter

June 23, 2014 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: ~80 degrees, Warm

Comments:
So the Johnson Park towpath is basically a 2-meter wide trail with about 5 feet of dropoff on both sides leading to water. Today, I came around a bend in the trail and saw a deer, and a guy on a bike behind it. I slowed down, since I didn't want the deer to panic, but it had no idea what to do. It kinda stood there, the guy on the bike passed, and then started running away from me in the direction I was going. I felt kind of guilty about "chasing" the deer, but I was right by the turnaround anyway, so the feeling didn't last too long.

I actually saw them, they were just on a different stump than before.

Decent run, I'm getting a bit more comfortable with these longer runs, so that's nice. This week will be at 40 again, after that we're moving up some more.
