EASY PRE

Busy day!

Slept in a bit, then got my ass going. Wasn't crazy stiff but wanted to get in a "forced recovery run".

It was slow going: the legs were pretty OK, but the ankles were pretty roughed up. REALLY focused on form:

- quick elbows ('behind hips')
- hinge + back arch
- flick & pull

Felt good but REALLY went slow: 8:30-8 pace (per my watch = 8->7:40 pace). HR reflected the fatigue, as it was 120-130s. A solid 8.5

AFter that? Quickly ate breakfast, then helped Emily move, then got my haircut (by my friend Jane at the nice salon, who cut my hair pre-WS :), THEN got the oil changed in Mr Roberts' Prius (for WS), THEN got gas, THEN did some quick man-beauty shopping at Nordstrom, THEN met Colin at Jackalope to watch the World Cup game.

After that, I went to Allan Bros to get some interwebs work done...and didn't get home 'til 8! Then I had to pack!

Had another solid FB chat with Kaci: she pushed the envelope and gave me the "How can you be single?" question! Ha! Woah! I, of course, turned that Q on her, but later recommended we table that convo until "fact to face" (*leave her/us wanting more, right?). Interesting...
