Not bad for the first tempo run of summer :) I was nervous beforehand because my legs still felt sore from Monday but as always, the time leading up to the start is always the worst part. I felt a strong burning sensation in my quads on the inclines during the first two miles but then we ran down onto the golf course and it was just dessert from there! It seems like once you make that turn onto the last stretch of the golf course you automatically speed up, and that's exactly what happened. I'm not quite sure what the time was at the 3-mile mark but I'll make sure to check next time. Overall pleased but not satisfied.
