Get Outta Town

July 18, 2014 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: ~70 degrees, Warm

Comments:
Long run today. Didn't want to get sick of my loop around town, so I ran to my old High School. Good run I think, that 'polar vortex' thing seems to have lowered temperatures a bit, so it wasn't unreasonably hot today. Only issue was my stomach bothering me about halfway through, but luckily it happened right next to Grover's Mill, which has a brand-new park bathroom.

After arriving at the High School track, there was a whole bunch of kids running around the track. I was first surprised because the school finally finished redoing the track, but then I realized that one of the old Coaches was there, as well as an old teammate. Apparently they were doing some sort of summer track camp for middle schoolers and I happened to come on the last day, where they were having a meet. I wanted to stop and talk for a bit, but my Dad was giving me a ride home, and was late for a meeting, so I had to cut it short. Oh well. I think I'm going to try to do this every once in a while, it's nice to get some variety from my town.
