Griffith Park "long run"

It was supposed to be my first 1+12 this summer but we had to cut it short...
First 3 miles were about 6:50, 6:40, 6:30 and the physical exhaustion from the rest of the week started to get to me. We cruised it over a bit past Boulder and turned back. It felt like we might've picked it up at the end but I still can't believe the average pace was 6:40 anyway. My legs just felt heavy. An ice bath sounds ideal.
