Pretty good day at work; HOT out, so I started with some easy treadmill running. It only makes sense to do some MAF running, so after a mile warm-up, I ran 3 at a max of 130 - fairly disciplined at keeping it from spiking too high above that:
6:39, 6:44, 6:54
Very happy. These improvements are mostly mechanical, I think, but I don't care - I just like that it's better! I will retest after Waldo to see if I might be able to raise my "max heart rate" to somewhere closer to 140.
Ran outside afterward. HOT, breezy. Stopped for some pull-ups, then did about 6 short strides. TIRED.
