Treadmill 3x mile workout

Comments:
Pretty good work day, then got in the workout, pre-hunt. This is working out pretty well: do a short workout, then head to Lewis.

Ran two miles easy outside, then x4 longer strides, then back inside.

The 12mph was pretty easy, so I figured I could do a whole mile at that pace. The "pace conversion" says 5:00 = 5:13 on the road, so it should be "easy" to do that.

And it was pretty easy: mile at 12mph, then about .35mi or so jog, then ramp back up. It was interesting how low the HR stayed: like high 150s to low 160s, even at the end!

But it DOES go to show how much BRAKING (overstride) affects my running outdoors. The treadmill is SO much easier because the belt is moving and prevents a lot of that...
