Comments:
After a scenic four-hour car ride from Geneva to Belaggio, which sits on the center of the y-shaped Lake Como, I explored a small portion of the notably hilly town with 6x2-minute pickups at tempo pace or faster with one minute recovery, following a 15 minute warmup and preceding another 16 minutes of steady running, six striders and a lap around the hotel grounds. Although I did good work strength work (1:45 plank, 32 alternating lunges, 1:30 flutter kicks, squat-pushup progression to eight and 60 crunches), something seemed rather dishonest about the whole day. Nevertheless, I am lucky to be getting this kind of quality on vacation.
