South Chagrin Reservation

Grogan, Carter, and I came out here for a long run with a change in scenery and because hey, Rocky River was fun last week, why not try Chagrin? We, more like I, decided we should start with the harder part to the south and get the hilly part out of the way first. We went that way for a long time and ran on the trail along Hawthorn until past the highway. We ran back the same way and then ran to the Polo Fields and back to make it 15. I was really dying at the end and was almost dropped. Maybe I just got a little bit too peppy on the hills at the beginning, but all in all, I am not too pleased with my fitness level. Everyone seems to have high expectations for me to be one of our top runners this year and I know I'll probably have my moments, but I wasn't feeling it today and may need a serious reality check. Maybe I was just tired today for some reason, but I think I have some work to do.
