Run to the Rec Center

Comments:
I got 11 hrs of sleep last night. Totally needed it but I was still tired this morning. Legs were so sore. Shins and calves were pretty sore last night, like shin splints. Loosened up during the day and felt better when I actually headed out for a run in the afternoon. Ran up to the Rec Center on Lincoln, lifted, then came back down the bike path. Felt like mixing it up a little bit doing something different. Started out slow honestly and lower legs were super tight. Weather was great though clean crisp air and leaves, all that. It was hot and sunny on the bike path back. I just kept cruzin working into the pace. I didnt feel as smooth as I did for the run last week haha. Also this was more boring, I would rather be running through the streets of Charleston with my teammates. I actually picked it up a little near the end. Overall it felt good to get the legs moving, much better than taking a day off. Gotta work through the pain to get better.

Essentials: Stretch, roll

Good stretch and roll when I got back. Breaking the run into two parts isnt all that bad. I dont tighten up too much, and I am usually not too sore from the lifting.

Way out was a little less than 2.5, but way back is a lil more, so round that shit up!
