Good day at work - a couple openings, and some time to finish my Trail Runner article. Didn't run 'til after 6, but it was perfect out.
Lifted today (deadlifts, push-ups, chop abs), so I was sore and fearing fatigue going into this run.
But, I felt fantastic! The stride is feeling total-$$ right now, with the big focus on:
- hip drive/abs
- lumbar extension WITH relaxed forward thorax (=max breathing AND max hip push off behind)
- pawback
Rolling 7-lows on the GPS watch (which just may be mid-high 6s) all day, feeling good and low effort. Did a half-dozen strides at the end.
Got home today and checked the mail: JURY DUTY starting 10/30!!! Might poke a deadly hole in the JJ100 trip!
