AM AT run

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: high 60s, humid already

Comments:
"Slept in" all the way to 0550 today, as I didn't have to start work 'til 0830. Slept WELL, for a change.

Did circuits to help wake up, then hit the trail. R ass was feeling OK/better on the warm-up, and I clipped along hoping to "warm up" for hard running...which is tough to do this early.

Did 3 strides in the Alton Baker parking lot, then got after it. Got out SLOW then, seriously, just about FORGOT I was running AT about a half-mile in -- way too comfy. Hit the half in OVER 3:00 and the mlie in 5:58. Sheesh. Pushed it a bit more in 2-3 (which HAVE TO be long) but only ran 11:44 for those. Picked it up just a bit in the 4th mile for a respectable 5:42.

The right leg felt OK/so-so during and I focused on running upright/NOT shifting to my L...as I've been doing, apparently, for months now. It worked, but as soon as I'd take my mind off it, the pain would return and I'd go back to the lateral shift. Pretty dumb.

Overall, though, the AT felt good and EASY.
