Southside Farm Loop

October 10, 2014 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Wrapping up a tiring week. Misplanned and didnt bring any running stuff to campus, so I went home and went for a run in the late afternoon. I also stayed a little too late, and decided I wanted to fit in a run rather than go back to watch hockey game. Didnt know where to go, was getting bored of the regular routes. I hit up the Rail Trail and headed toward the mall. Nice and easy pace on the way out just cruizing down the path. Nice long sleeve weather and there were a fair amount of people out. Legs felt tired today. Not sore, just not very fast. Headed out to Maple St, then turned down that to come back on Mill River. There isnt a whole lot of shoulder out there. Hadley dont give a fuck, but as soon as you cross back over into Amherst, the shoulder reappears. It was fine running on the grass next to the corn fields though. Felt really tired coming back on the road and probably slowed down a little. I did pick it back up on the hill to the house because I knew I was almost done. For the most part it was a decent loop. I like running along the corn, reminds me of the Midwest. Also, its exactly 5 miles!

Essentials: Stretch

Pretty simple stretch. Legs just feel tired. Hammies a little sore. Stretching didnt help them all that much. Some rest and sleep should spark them up again. This weather is really keeping me going though. I want to run just to be outside in the clean crisp fall air.
